So that floor to wall details in doctors' surgeries and clinics do not become a hygiene risk point, coved flooring skirtings are installed here instead of wooden skirting boards. The flooring material is coved up the wall to form a clean, tight finish. It's easier and quicker with prefabricated elements. For a seamless connection of the flooring sections, colour matched weld rods are used to join the sections together and thus provide a watertight seal. The hygienic floor finish is therefore aestetically and hygenically smoothed off and this helps to fulfil the highest cleanliness requirements.
