PURLINE at the Ackermannschule / Bürgermeister-Grimm-Schule

With the extension to the Ackermannschule, the City of Frankfurt is once again setting an example for sustainable educational buildings. The two-storey new building, constructed using a resource-efficient timber modular design, creates additional space for all-day operation and adds a canteen, classrooms, childcare facilities and administrative offices to the existing school campus. The modular construction method enabled a short build time and combines sustainability with high functionality – an important contribution to the city’s growing educational infrastructure.

In keeping with this holistic building concept, the sustainable polyurethane flooring PURLINE was chosen. Its durable and health-promoting properties make it the ideal solution for high-traffic educational buildings.

Designed for everyday school life

The Ackermann School is part of a series of sustainable school construction projects through which Frankfurt is further developing its educational landscape. PURLINE was also used in the extension to the Charles-Hallgarten School – a further example of how durable material solutions complement modern educational architecture effectively.
