PURLINE in the extension to the Charles-Hallgarten School

The extension to the Charles-Hallgarten School has created a learning environment that combines sustainable architecture with modern teaching methods. The two-storey new building, constructed using a modular timber design, provides bright, versatile learning spaces and open communal areas that equally encourage communication, collaborative learning and individual work. Natural materials and a well-thought-out interior design ensure a pleasant atmosphere and create the ideal conditions for contemporary learning.

For the flooring, the sustainable polyurethane flooring PURLINE was chosen. Around 500 m² of wineo 1500 roll in the Silver Grey finish complements the overall sustainable concept and combines functionality with timeless design.

In places where people learn, play and interact on a daily basis, durable materials are essential. PURLINE impresses with its high durability, easy-to-maintain surface and comfortable underfoot feel. At the same time, the resilient flooring reduces impact noise, thereby helping to create a quiet learning environment.

Thanks to its low-emission and health-promoting properties, PURLINE contributes to a healthy indoor climate and meets the high standards of modern educational buildings.

Silver Grey – understated elegance for bright learning spaces

The Silver Grey design harmonises with the natural timber architecture and emphasises the building’s open layout. The light grey tone lends the rooms a calm, modern ambience and provides the ideal foundation for flexible learning environments.

Together with the Ackermann School, the Charles-Hallgarten School is one of a series of innovative school construction projects in Frankfurt using timber modular construction. Both buildings demonstrate how sustainable architecture, forward-looking planning and high-performance materials such as PURLINE contribute to modern learning environments.
