Project description
Modern Learning Environments for Kinderland at the Alfred-Nobel-Allee Campus in Saarwellingen
A bilingual daycare center has been established at the Alfred-Nobel-Allee Campus in Saarwellingen that combines multilingualism with discovery-based learning. The educational concept provides children with care in both German and English and offers them a playful introduction to various areas of learning. The seven continents serve as themes for specially designed rooms where children can explore their environment, discover new things, and gain their own experiences. In this way, the facility combines early childhood education with an international focus and creates space for collaborative learning and individual development.
Approximately 1,300 m² of the PURLINE flooring wineo 1500 wood XL in the Crafted Oak finish was used for the flooring design. With its natural wood look, the finish complements the daycare center’s versatile usage concept and gives the rooms a warm, inviting atmosphere. At the same time, the flooring combines a timeless design with the functional requirements of a heavily used educational facility.
PURLINE – natural, durable, and suitable for everyday use
In daycare centers, flooring must withstand heavy daily use. Play, learning, and group activities place special demands on durability, ease of maintenance, and comfort. At the same time, sustainable materials and a pleasant indoor environment are key considerations in the design of modern educational spaces.
PURLINE stands out for its durable, hard-wearing surface and its low-emission material composition. The flooring is easy to maintain, offers a comfortable walking experience, and contributes to a pleasant learning and play atmosphere thanks to its low noise levels. PURLINE thus combines functional properties with a commitment to sustainability, creating a durable foundation for daily use in daycare centers.
Crafted Oak – a natural wood look for an inviting learning environment
With its authentic oak wood look, the Crafted Oak design brings natural warmth to the rooms of the daycare center. The wood design has a timeless appeal and creates a friendly atmosphere that invites children to play, explore, and learn together. At the same time, the design blends harmoniously into the versatile educational areas and supports a balanced spatial concept that combines functionality with natural aesthetics.
