A new, quiet floor covering was to be laid in all the practice rooms, with the environmental aspect being particularly important to the doctor. She also expected the flooring to be durable, visually appealing and long-lasting. PURLINE proved to be the perfect flooring solution for the practice. It perfectly combines health-promoting properties with a natural wood finish, ease of cleaning and maintenance, and proven cost savings compared to conventional resilient flooring, thanks to reduced consumption of water, cleaning products and the time required for maintenance. And with a thickness of just 2.5 mm, PURLINE is also ideal for refurbishment projects.

PURLINE is a resilient polyurethane floor covering made from the finest natural ingredients. It is based on ecuran, a specially developed high-performance composite material consisting predominantly of vegetable oils such as rapeseed or castor oil and naturally occurring mineral components such as chalk. Vegetable oils replace a large proportion of the petrochemical polyols in the polyurethane formulation. 100% made in East Westphalia, without the addition of chlorine, plasticisers or solvents. The organic flooring does not release any harmful substances into the indoor air; it is odourless, quiet and gentle on the joints, antistatic, chemical-resistant and therefore ideally suited for use in everyday practice settings. It thus perfectly meets the expectations of the doctor, who selected the authentic Nevis Moon wood design from the PURLINE collection for the 200 square metre floor area.

The planks were glued to the old subfloor and, once laid, are indistinguishable from real wood thanks to their typical country-house plank format (1200 x 200 mm); they now lend all the rooms a modern and homely ambience, as well as pleasantly quiet room acoustics.
